Window Poem

Window Poem
I see a pasture ahead of me with dark forests,
To the left is a make-shift dog pen holding a 90 pound rottweiler.
Something is different today, there is a stark cold reality that sends chills up your spine.
Sometimes I wish I could run away to the forests to escape my life.
I see the guys playing football but I am trapped behind this window.
As I look into the distance I see the horizon calling out to me, but I can't move.
I see three horses, inseparable best friends even though they have just recently met.

  1. Your "different today" line is interesting because you went in a more abstract, theoretical direction than just describing a physical or tangible difference...Like a realization has been made that will change everything:

"Something is different today, there is a stark cold reality that sends chills up your spine."
